Pet Beds

Whether you have a dog, cat, hamster, rat, lizard… we have made beds for all of these creatures. With an endless selection of colors and bed types we can build your pet’s perfect bed.

Double Chenille

These beds are made of regular 2/3” sized chenille yarn doubled up. These beds are soft and squishy. The base of the bed is about 3.5” thick, and with no stuffing or foam this will not flatten out over time. Our big dog and senior dog customers like these beds because they provide excellent support. Seniors who struggle to get comfortable are able to get cozy and the big dogs that usually flatten out their beds enjoy the squish and support. These beds also have a nicely structured wall, and are available in a circle or oval shape. I have made as small as 10” and as big as 42”.

You can machine wash double chenille beds. They wash best in a VERY full load, gentle cycle, cold water, strong spin cycle. Toss them in the dryer for about 15 min on low heat to get the drying process started and air dry (out in the sun is best).

Cubed Foam Bed

These Beds are really cool and unique! IT took a bit for them to catch on because I think folks assume they are lumpy. they actually are not, but instead a structured squishy comfy… just kinda awesome. reports are that they are the most popular bed in every house they have ended up in. I have a couple in my own home and my favorite thing about them is that, unlike flat foam beds that flatten over time, these puff right back up. The way the foam is cubed and inside the bed makes it so that different pieces of cube can move around and take over when one is flattened out. (I don’t know if that makes sense, but it does in my head!) these beds wash great! Just throw in the washer and dryer. They re-puff themselves in the dryer!

Jumbo Chenille

These beds are made of super plush jumbo chenille yarn. A single strand of 1 1/4” sized yarn is used to construct these. Over time the walls on these beds will be a bit more floppy than on the more structured double chenille beds, but the dogs don’t care. They love to work themselves into the cozy floppiness. This type of bed is best for beds 20” or smaller, and at that size only a circle is available. If you do choose to do a larger bed in this style you can also select an oval.

This type of bed should only be washed in cold water on a gentle cycle in a very full load. Using a gentle detergent like Woolite will keep the yarn like new longer. These can be put in the dryer on very low heat briefly to start the drying process, but this yarn should be air dried, in the sun is best.

Cave Bed

Chenille yarn makes for the ultimate cozy cave bed. my whippet customers order these in giant sizes and I receive the best happy customer photos once they receive them. sometimes I can only see a tail sticking out of the lid! The caves come in all sizes so any size dog that loves to burrow under a lid will be extra cozy. I have made these as small as 8” and as big as 42”. You can upgrade the base of a cave bed to jumbo chenille for an extra squishy and plushy bottom. the hood is constructed of 2/3” regular chenille. The options for a Honey snuggles cave are pretty endless. Caves come with a smooth, structured wire included in case you would like to route it through your lid to hold it up a bit. Wash these beds in cold water on a gentle cycle and dry on low heat. You can air dry to keep your yarn like new longer, but I suggest waiting for a sunny day to speed up the process. There is a lot of yarn for these.

Flat Bed

this bed comes in THREE sizes: 30”x30”, 35”x35”, and 40”x40”, BUT you can contact me to coordinate a custom size. The cover is a chenille blanket on top and a layer of fleece on the bottom. The cover is removable so you can easily wash it. There is a layer of foam inside covered in waterproof fabric.

To wash the cover simply untie the fleece closing strips and remove the foam. wash the cover in cold water on a gentle cycle and dry on low heat. replace the foam when the cover is Dry and re-insert the fleece strips to secure the cover.

So many choices………
