Double Layer Mat
This is a Honey snuggles original design. we took a blanket and worked a design layer through and the rest is history! The endless combinations of colors and designs really make it fun to personalize your pup’s personal space. Whether it’s their crate at the house or one of the many brands of travel crates, we can make any size and any combo of colors.
these are very easy to wash. If you use cold water, a gentle cycle, and dry out in the sun the yarn will stay like new longer, but these will also hold up to normal wash cycles. You can dry in the dryer, low heat is best.
Criss Cross Mats
This happened on accident. While using this stitch to build a blanket we realized if the stitch was too tight the blanket would be too thick, but perfect for a kennel mat. These are a bit less pricy than the double layer because they use less yarn. They are sturdy and can be put in your pup’s kennel as a single item and provide comfy support. These can be made in either regular size chenille yarn or the jumbo chenille yarn.

Kennel Pad
This item is all one piece. It is a 1” or 2” piece of foam with a fabric sewn on. The fabric is not removable.
Washer and dryer safe. Dry on low heat or air dry out in the sun if possible.
Waterproof Pad
This item is all one piece. It is a 1” or 2” piece of foam with a waterproof fabric sewn on to protect the foam. The waterproof fabric is not removable. This pad is designed for use with Honey Snuggles pad covers. My pad covers were designed for use with Primo Pads, but for folks that do not use the Primos this is an option. I triple stitch the material to make the seams as waterproof as possible. The material is Waterproof, Foodsafe fabric designed to be tear resistant. It is very slide-y, so your covers will slide on and off easily.
The 1” or 2” will work with the pad cover size it correlates with. For example, if you have intermediate RLK pad covers from Honey Snuggles, you can purchase a 1” or 2” intermediate RLK waterproof pad to use with those covers. The thickness of the pad does not make a difference in what cover size you purchase.
To clean these pads simply wipe them down with whatever cleaning spray or soap and water you use to clean your kennel or other similar material.
Cooling Mat Mat
This product is a game changer. The bottom layer is a terryclotH or microfiber towel. The top layer is neoprene scuba fabric. In between there is two layers of waterproof fabric sewn up and sealed with sailboat sealant to essentially create a waterproof bag, like a dry bag you put your electronics in when kayaking. between the dry bag and top layer there is a layer of zorb (cloth diaper) material to serve as buffer so the mat doesn’t get too freezing and to make it a bit less lumpy. Both the base towel and the zorb will absorb any condensation or leaking so your kennel is not a puddle.
Fill the mat about halfway with ice or use frozen blocks like you use in your lunch box. The waterproof layer has a closing mechanism just like dry bags do to prevent leaking. flatten out the mat in your dog’s crate and your dog will stay cool. when the ice melts, just dump it and refill. flip the mat inside out to dry between uses.
I will add that this mat was tested by a human laying on it with bare skin. I can tell you that if I find myself on a nice vacation laying out on the beach in the hot sun I will be borrowing this mat from my dog! Nice and cool!!!
